why be dull?

Who would use citron and turquoise in the hall and aqua and orange in the guest room? That, ladies and gentlemen, would be designer John Willey. On his website it says: "Life's too short for an all-beige room." I love that! This is a colourful home in Nantucket designed by him. The images are from House Beautiful but you can view the entire house on his website.

  1. My family's home is painted and decorated with all different colors--I love it!
I like the idea of your living space being a canvas.
    Nice pictures.

  2. Love this! Those flowers are so pretty in the first photo... I could use some bright flowers to perk things up around here. Snowing again! Hope you are well. Sorry I haven't been by in a bit... my life has been a bit crazy as of late. Enjoy your Sunday! xo

  5. Such an interior really works on your mood i think. The pictures are making me happy, just by looking at it. A big contrast with my own place though, which is almost entirely white! :)

  6. I am in love! What a beautiful home. I can't wait until I have my own - although it would never look this pretty. I am so bad at decorating and with colours. Inspiration though! :)
