rich & dark

Earlier today I announced the winner of my first giveaway. And today I'm inspired by this home, which I believe is Danish. I'm not really a fan of such dark furniture and black home decor items but the white doors and paint create a balance. All the pieces work well together and give the feeling of a complete home. It somehow looks rich and loaded with history. And don't get me started on the cute dog.

Could someone please tell me why I live in a house where the fireplace has been closed off with tiles? Anyone? I think I need a sledgehammer.

For dinner I'm making the Friday pizza and we'll drink a toast to our friends in Canada who are celebrating Canada Day. What are you guys up to?
